The health and safety of our animals is important for a successful vegetation management program. To ensure a safe environment, a strict parasite and vaccine animal health program is implemented by a licensed veterinarian. On site, the animals are under regular veterinary supervision.
We provide a safe environment and a positive image of animal use in managing vegetation. We have worked with environmental groups concerned with lateral transmission of diseases from domestic animals to wildlife. Our animal health program includes serological bacterial and virus testing, regular parasite fecal exams, and biological vaccination schedules.
In addition, animal husbandry practices of proper animal care (i.e., water, minerals, foot trimming, external and internal parasite control) is an important part of our animal health program. We have implemented an animal health program that can satisfy potential environmental and public health concerns.
